Malaysia: 51st Merdeka Day

Our country will be celebrating its 51st Merdeka Day in few days time. But it seems something is missing for this year. It is not as grand as it was previous years. The spirit is not there. It's lacking. Maybe not for you,but thats what I feel it.

What has happened to this year's Merdeka Day? Frankly, does anyone of you Malaysian know what is this year's Merdeka Day slogan? Even I didn't realize of it till I saw the slogan in picture below. I felt the difference from what I experienced last year. The spirit is missing. It's not that I dun love my country anymore but the things that happening around seems overcome the joy of Merdeka.
The spirit of Merdeka is just not by displaying the flag but to know the slogan of the year too. Well,by observing the things that happening in our country now,you might say we still never obtained Independence Day. But still we have obtained right from British? Well, the situation now is like "Keluar kandang singa, masuk kandang harimau". Yes,it is,we are freed from British but we ended up with BN. But eventhough,we have been marginalised by BN for past this years,it is still our duty to celebrate and have the spirit of Merdeka. All for the sake of our beloved country. Leave politic aside. WE,as MALAYSIANS,should have the spirit.

But the problem now is the theme " Malaysians".The concept "
Bangsa Malaysia".

Look at the picture above.Just explain how racist are some people in this country and ironically, this year slogan is "Unity Is the Pillar of Success" (Perpaduan Teras Kejayaan). But looking at the events that happened past few weeks,Malaysia has been witnessing some kind of disunity among the races. The Bar Council Religious Conversion Forum ruckus and the Malay-Muslim UiTM student protests.

Not only that,this year
I don't see lots of vehicles zipping around with fluttering Jalur Gemilang like the last few years. What about the call for raising the flag?I never heard any campaign of raising the flag from PakLah.Busy zzz perhaps? Instead I hear about the call for flying the national flag upside-down as a sign of protest. The word "patriotism" is hardly mentioned these days. This year no minister is blaming no one for "not being patriotic enough". Instead, they are busy blaming the oppositions and busy getting their ass sticked in current seat.

What will we witness for this year Merdeka?
Will there be loud joyous cries in unison of "Merdeka ! Merdeka! Merdeka!" among Malaysians of all races? Or shouts of anger blaming each other: "Mereka! Mereka! Mereka!"

Malaysians were more interested about the Olympic games in Beijing and Permatang Pauh by-election. And next they will be interested with what Anwar going to do in parliament. And most awaited Sept 16.

BABY for sale on EBAY.......

BERLIN (AFP) - - German police said Sunday they have taken a seven month baby away from a couple in Bavaria who are under investigation after putting the child for sale on Internet auction site Ebay.

The baby boy was put on sale on Tuesday at a starting price of one euro (1.58 dollars) and was withdrawn from the site around two and a half hours later, police said. There had been no offers.

The mother said it was meant as a joke, but police failed to see the funny side, putting the baby into care and launching an investigation of both parents for attempted child trafficking, a statement said.

Now watz happening?? A baby 4 sale???? Soon dis wil become a bussiness......Dis ppl gone cracko o what....

And d starting price is just 1.58 dollars..wth??? Is that a value for a human being???

In my opinion, the authority should get the baby foster parents and if its possible, make the parents impotent.....

Latest Fashion- Good or Bad?

Following the latest hollywood trend ? or some hong kong latest trend ?

What do you think about girls that wears socks till their knees that is black in white, doing haircuts that makes them look like lala girls and putting up black nail polish when they are just around 15 - 18 yrs old ?

I think they look weird than the majority of the society. When they followed the latest trend, I don't think they got that body and look to fit into that fashion trend. Like wearing big black sunglasses that belonged to the 60s.

I would say that I'd rather dress what I feel comfortable and approachable to another person =).

What's your point of view ?

Thieves wearing nothing but briefs break into Malaysian home....

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - An official says five robbers have baffled Malaysian police by breaking into a house while clad only in underwear.

Miri town police chief Jamaludin Ibrahim said Wednesday that the men were armed with knives and gave three family members a rude awakening before dawn Sunday in their home in the eastern state of Sarawak.

"All of them came in with underwear only and covered their faces with T-shirts," he said, adding that authorities don't know why the suspects were dressed that way.

He said the suspects tied up their victims and fled with cash, watches and cell phones.

Totally weird guys.....Dis dress code to give shock o just for fun?? Nowdays criminals coming with alot of weird way to rob n things to steal wic includes panties n bra too...huhu....

Black Magic...

Black magic or dark magic is a type of magic that draws on malevolent powers. It may be used for malevolent acts or to deliberately cause harm in some way. It is alternatively spelt with a 'k' (magick), this term is also known as black magick, dark magick, the dark arts of magick and dark side magick.

In fiction it refers to evil magic. In modern times, people who believe in or claim to practice magic use the term to describe the harmful magic that they consider immoral, as opposed to the good white magic.

Black magic would be invoked to kill, injure, or cause destruction, or for personal gain without regard to harmful consequences to others. As a term, "black magic" is normally used to describe a form of ritual that some group or person does not approve of. Not everything that is called black magic truly has malevolent intentions behind it, and some also consider it to have beneficial and benevolent uses, such as killing off diseases or pests .

Recently, there is a SMS being circulated on this black magic thingy.
It sounds :
To all my dearest friends,if u happen to receive a phone call which the num starts with +62852731520945 and the num is red in colour,do not ans the call, coz in Indonesia, there is a group of students testing their black magic by calling us,if any1 ans,can cause to death. In Indonesia 9 ppl are dead n yd in Puchong 2 person passed away. This is not a joke, its a real story.Plz do not neglect..Plz check metro paper.

How far is this story??Does black magic really exist??? Or its just a supersitious believe???Hmmm....wondering....

Panggilan santau karut

Oleh Mohd Jamilul Anbia Md Denin, Amir Abdul Hamid, Salman Hamat, Norfaisal Jahuri dan Sulaiman Salleham@hmetro.com.my

KUALA LUMPUR: Menggemparkan!

Com semalam melaporkan, seorang pegawai bank ABN di Jalan Petamburan, Jakarta, menjadi individu terbaru menerima panggilan berkenaan selepas M Fani Bratawijaya, 25, sebelah tengah hari.

Aid Myanmar

On 2 May 2008, Cyclone Nargis battered southern Myanmar, causing massive destruction. To date, 22,000 people have perished, over 41,000 are missing and as many as 1 million people have been left homeless. The Irrawaddy region took the brunt of the storm, with some villages almost totally eradicated and vast rice-growing areas wiped out. The storm uprooted trees, toppled electricity and telephone poles, and burst water pipes, leaving the several million without basic utilities. International aid is starting to trickle in, led by the U.N.'s World Food Program.

While the government is trying to show that it can handle the crisis on its own, ahead of a referendum on the constitution, the international community is clamouring for more access to the military-ruled country, in order to help the victims and carry out relief operations.

The following are some of the organizations and aid agencies involved in the Myanmar relief effort. If you would like to help, please view their websites to find out how you can participate.

Waytha's message: Hindraf's just struggle for justice continues

Dear HINDRAF Supporters,

You may all have heard about the “War of Roses” declared by HINDRAF yesterday. Now the Government would understand that I have not accepted defeat and HINDRAF’S struggle would continue.

We would continue to peacefully fight for the release our 5 Leaders and demand that the Government meet our 18 demands submitted to the Prime Minister in July 2007.

I promise you that 16th Feb 2007 would be an eye opener to the Government that Indians will never give up their struggle.

We have remained silent for far too long. The Government finds it difficult to digest the fact that Indians have found strength to voice out their grievances.

So please send the message to all your friends by whatever means possible. We do not have the support of the media so we have to be independent and find our own way to spread the news. SMS are powerful tool at this time and age.

If you have friends overseas I suggest you ask them to organize one at their respective embassies and consulate offices as well. Never mind if it falls on Saturday. They can write to the embassy/consulate office to accept on a Saturday. They will oblige. After all the Roses are meant for the PM.How can they disrespect the PM?

Kindly also take note that as policewatchmalaysia website is not available currently you could log on to www.hindraf.co.uk to find out latest news on Malaysia.

Thank you.
